The business started in 2005 and has grown steadily for the past 18 years.

Who We Are

The one-minute elevator pitch about this business goes something like this

• We install and service residential water filtration systems in the Watsonville area

• I am the owner and operator of the business. I have no employees, no debt, and generate a respectable profit from the business.

• The business is primarily a Service business. It requires basic plumbing skills but a Plumbing License is not required. I contract the plumbing work to a licensed plumber. The basic plumbing skills can be learned in a few days.

• The Watsonville area has very hard water and chemical runoff from the Ag industry.  We provide solutions for each of these water problems

• My customer base is large enough to keep me busy without advertising.

• The growth potential is huge. The need for filtration is high, and there is a shortage of service technicians doing this work

Over the years we have become the local water expert in the Watsonville area.

The business grows through referrals from other customers and plumbers.

 

We service most brands of water softeners, reverse osmosis and well water filters.

Our goal is to educate our customers on the benefits of clean pure water and the filtration systems that provide that.

   • Beneficial minerals are in a "food form" and come from the foods we eat

   • Hard water uses 3 - 4 times more soap, cleaners and detergents

   • Hard Water shortens the life of your appliances

As the owner/operator I am the point of contact for solving water problems and servicing equipment after it has been installed.

A basic understanding of water, contaminants and methods of filtration is needed.

Most can be trained in a week or two.

Good people skills and organizational skills are important too.

 

Being an expert is not required

Having a plumbing license is not required

 

I contract out the testing, designing and installation of the systems.

They are the experts.
